Embrasa was founded more than 50 years ago in the interior of São Paulo, with the goal of developing and producing solutions in polyethylene (PE) sacks, woven polypropylene (WPP) sacks (raffia sacks), and FIBC Bulk Bags for packaging diverse products.

Throughout our history, we have become a benchmark in product innovation, the largest Latin American producer of heat-sealed woven polypropylene (WPP) sacks, and one of the largest Brazilian manufacturers of FIBC Bulk Bags.

This journey of growth has always encountered challenges and opportunities to evolve, impacting the market and helping to define international quality standards across the entire supply chain.

We are self-sufficient in all the inputs required to manufacture packaging, including fabrics, handles, and films.

Technology and Innovation

We are a self-sufficient transformation industry, capable of manufacturing sacks and FIBC Bulk Bags completely independently — from raw material to finished product. This production autonomy ensures agility, traceability and, most importantly, full quality control at every stage of the process.

Sumaré/SP

Our oldest unit, the Sumaré plant was founded in 1973 and served as the foundation for the company’s growth. It currently concentrates sack production and serves as the central hub of the group.

Our Units

Today, we have four strategically distributed units to serve our clients with agility, efficiency and quality. Each one plays an essential role in our operation and in the commitment to offering tailor-made solutions for different market segments.

Artur Nogueira/SP

In addition to being our largest unit, the Artur Nogueira plant is growing at an accelerated pace. It has the highest FIBC Bulk Bag production capacity in the group, serving our other branches as well.

Catalão/GO

Catalão handles the finishing of FIBC Bulk Bags produced by the group, serving the North, Northeast and Midwest Brazilian markets. Its strategic location allows agile service across a large national area.

Taquara/RS

Our Taquara plant plays a strategic role in serving clients in southern Brazil. Producing FIBC Bulk Bags since 2020, this is our newest plant and a regional leader for the market.

Riachão do Jacuípe/BA

Inaugurated in September 2025, our unit in Bahia has installed capacity to produce 3.24 million units per year of specialty FIBC Bulk Bags, serving clients in the Northeast and North of Brazil with agility.
